Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in Russia is growing and developing. The demand for a number of Russian goods abroad is extremely high. The companies representing Russia on the international markets in some special niches are competitive and successful, and it’s not just about raw materials and energy exports. Today we will talk about agricultural products and this is an excellent example confirming the high demand on the Russian-made goods. In the spring of 2022 we delivered the equipment for growing greenery from Perm to Berlin in the interests of our customer.

The cargo included a germinator, glasses for micro-greenery as well as a set of removable disks and substrates for greenery. Transportation was carried out within LTL cargo, so all the elements were placed on 120×80 cm pallet with a height of 2.3 meters and delivered to TRASKO consolidation warehouse in Krekshino (Moscow) for further redistribution. Then the cargo started its journey along the route.

When the truck arrived in Tver, it turned out that the new package of sanctions imposed by the EU against the Russian Federation on that day suspended the implementation of cargo transportation by trucks from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on the territory of the European Union. In the conditions of the restrictions and the lack of information after the introduction of sanctions it was decided to postpone the delivery until the situation was clarified. The cargo got back to the consolidation warehouse, and the customer was notified of the changed situation.

Having received the first substantive information about the current situation, TRASKO specialists revised the delivery scheme and decided to send the LTL cargo to the EU border with the subsequent transfer of the company’s semi-trailer to a foreign truck. New delivery terms were agreed with the client. The transfer was made at the transport and logistics center in the Republic of Belarus.

Thus, the new delivery scheme was successfully implemented. The cargo was delivered to the recipient in accordance with the agreed terms, having covered a distance of 3,400 km. Nowadays, TRASKO continues to carry out the transportation of LTL cargo to/from Europe through this delivery scheme.

Undoubtedly, logistics is changing following the geopolitical changes: logistics schemes are becoming more complicated; the cost of delivery in some directions has already been increased several times. TRASKO makes every effort to maintain the availability of LTL transportation for customers, as well as to increase the volume of exported cargo in the interests of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship. We would be glad to share our experience and competence and offer a professional and cost-effective logistics solution for the transportation of your cargo.
