TRASKO's collaboration with a company that supplies mining and industrial equipment is an example of such work. Orders from the owner of this type of cargo are always interesting for the final delivery point, which is sometimes located in places where there are no roads.
Here are just a few vivid examples of TRASKO's deliveries to industrial companies in the Republic of Buryatia: parts of a horizontal centrifugal slurry pump were delivered to two companies.
In the first case, the load (with dimensions of 1260 mm x 1260 mm x 1150 mm and a weight of 410 kg) had to be delivered to the village of Taksimovo. The logistics in this direction were built on the condition that there is no road for motor vehicles in the direction of the village, and there are only railway tracks.
The cargo was collected by road from Zabaikalsk and taken to a transshipment yard in Irkutsk, where a wagon was formed to transport the cargo to its final destination. The cargo was reloaded onto an all-terrain vehicle for final delivery to the consignee on arrival at the station.
The main difficulty here was not only the variety of modes of transport, but also the need to select reliable contractors and coordinate the pass for delivery of the cargo to the regime facility.
In the second case, the pump parts occupied a larger area (7 places) and weighed almost 3.5 tons and were delivered to the village of Ozerny, to the site of the local mining and processing plant.
In this case, despite the remoteness of the recipient and difficult roads, delivery by truck was chosen. A separate vehicle was prioritised to increase the speed of delivery by relying on reliable drivers.
Both deliveries arrived at their final destination within the agreed timeframe and the customer appreciated the speed and process of information during the transport and thanked the company for their prompt and smooth work.
