Robots became a part of our life. Many work processes are now automated, and the trend to replace human labor with robotic labor in some spheres is only getting stronger.
TRASKO has an experience in transportation of such equipment. So we received a request to transport waiter robots in the interests of our client UFAROBOTICS to work at one of the gastronomic festivals in the south of Russia. We were waiting for the cargo to arrive at Sheremetyevo Airport (Moscow) from abroad to deliver it to Sochi. At the same time, the cargo had to be delivered as a groupage one, which requires the most accurate route calculation.
On May 25, the cargo arrived to Russia and everyone was waiting for customs clearance. Each day spent at customs cut the delivery time for us. The client, customs representative and TRASKO were in close contact during the working day and even after that to control the situation.
On May 27, just five minutes before the customs office closed, the customs clearance for the cargo was completed and on May 28 we took it from the warehouse at Sheremetyevo Airport. The company paid terminal fees, storage, insurance and six boxes of fragile cargo were carefully loaded into the truck and started its journey to the destination point. In three days the groupage cargo covered a distance from Moscow to Sochi and was delivered to the customer in accordance with the agreed terms.
Groupage cargo transportation (LTL) is an alternative solution to FTL, if you want to cut costs or to deliver a small batch of cargo. In case of LTL transportation you pay only for the space that your cargo actually occupies in the truck. In addition, our company offers a well-planned route that allows the customer to receive the cargo in the optimal terms. TRASKO has been successfully delivering this type of cargo for over 20 years. We are ready to provide all our experience to serve your logistics needs.
