The efficiency of order acceptance and transportation are among the essential parameters of the modern logistics company. Quick respond to customer requests has become generally accepted work standards. Recently we delivered radio stations, microphones, headphones and chargers from Kazakhstan to Russia in the interests of our customer, a supplier of telecommunications and radio equipment to the regions with difficult climatic conditions. The request for the delivery was received on Friday at lunchtime and within the next hour TRASKO specialist picked up acceptable options for the truck and provided the customer with the necessary data for processing documents for export operations.
The overall cost of the equipment exceeded RUB 25.5 million. Boxes with a total weight of 1,530 kg were placed on pallets and wrapped with black stretch film. According to the terms of the order, the cargo was taken from two addresses in Almaty. All the boxes were secured in the semi-trailer with belts in order to ensure additional safety and to eliminate the risks of involuntary movement of pallets when the truck is moving.
In a week, the LTL cargo covered a distance of about 4,000 km and was delivered to the customer in Moscow. In addition to transportation, TRASKO carried out cargo insurance. The border was crossed with no delays. The delivery time of seven days is quite prompt taking into account the fact that the transportation was performed in the LTL mode.
