Recently, we carried out transportation of a device for determining the density of various types of liquids (density meter) from Tyumen to Beijing in the interests of a supplier of this type of equipment. The density meter is designed for noncontact sensing of the density of pulps and liquid environment in pipelines and various technological means. A special feature of this device is a photon radiation source in its composition, which helps to measure parameters in different liquid environment.
The device has been delivered in the customer’s packaging while the main diagnostic element, was covered in a sealed steel capsule in addition to standard packaging. An important point of transportation was to confirm the safeness of the transported cargo. The customer held an additional inspection for these purposes. The cargo was determined as safe and was sent as general cargo. This stage was one of the most time-consuming in the whole transportation.
In addition to transportation, TRASKO provided insurance and customs clearance of the cargo. The device was delivered from the warehouse to the Tyumen airport. After that it was transported to Moscow by aircraft and then to Beijing. At different stages of transportation, the cargo passed the radiation control in accordance with the established standards. Overall, the cargo was successfully delivered to the customer having covered about 9,800 km.
